Recovery in Community
Project Description
In partnership with Recovery In Community (RIC), EHC converted a
vacant row house and adjacent Laundromat into an eight-bedroom
transitional housing facility that will provide housing for women who are currently receiving substance abuse recovery services from RIC.
Additionally, the former Laundromat has been converted into a doctors
office for RIC clients as well as much-needed program meeting space. EHC coordinated the entire development process including building the
development team and securing capital funds.
RIC is a community-based program dedicated to reducing drug-related crime and substance abuse in the southwest communities of Baltimore City through the provision of alcohol abuse and drug addiction counseling services.
