Dayspring House
Project Description
Dayspring House is an 18-unit transitional housing facility for homeless mothers who are overcoming drug addiction, and their children. Dayspring House serves 18 women and up to 46 children.
Located just north of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dayspring House residents participate in a drug rehabilitation program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Women’s Center. Additionally there is an array of support services coordinated by Dayspring Communities Programs aimed at the recovery of the women as well as programs specifically addressing the needs of their children including an on-site Head Start program.
