PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT
Union Crossing
EHC and the City of Westminister developed and are building nine new town homes to be sold to moderate income buyers and first time buyers.
St. Stephen's Court Apartments
EHC has partnered with the St. Stephen’s Court Apartments to undertake the renovation of the apartments to ensure the preservation of this important source of affordable housing in west Baltimore.
Light of Truth Center
Just north of Patterson Park, EHC is working with the Light of Truth Center to renovate 244 N. Patterson Park Avenue to provide supportive, permanent housing for eight women who have overcome substance abuse.
Project PLASE
Working with Project PLASE, EHC is pursuing the acquisition and renovation of the Morgan Mill project in North Baltimore. Once completed this will provide 66 single room occupancy units for homeless and formerly homeless Veterans.
Earl's Place
Earl's Place, a provider of housing and services to homeless men has retained EHC to include development of 20 permanent housing units. As the project developer, EHC is working with Earl's Place to identify and acquire a site and oversee fundraising, design and construction for the new project.
Echo House
EHC has formed a partnership with Echo house to develop a new substance abuse treatment facility and day center at 1701 W. Fayette Street in the Franklin Square neighborhood of west Baltimore. For the past 30 years Echo House has provided treatment services from two converted row houses on Fayette Street. The new facility, to be located directly across the street from the current treatment center will allow Echo House to expand their services and will benefit their clients.
Weisman-Kaplan House
Under contract with Tuerk House, EHC will oversee the expansion and renovation of the Weisman-Kaplan House, a halfway house for men in recovery from substance abuse. The renovation will allow Tuerk House to provide services more efficiently and increase the number of men served by 50 percent going from 18 to 27 men when finished.
Tuerk House
Tuerk House is one of Baltimore's most affective substance abuse treatment programs. EHC has partnered with Tuerk House to coordinate repairs for the main building.
