Weisman Kaplan House

The renovation and expansion of a halfway house serving men in the Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore City.

Project Description

EHC partnered with Tuerk House, one of Baltimore’s oldest and most effective substance abuse treatment programs, on the expansion and rehabilitation of the Weisman-Kaplan House, a halfway house for men in Charles Village. The project entailed the expansion of the program through the purchase of an adjacent row house. The three row houses were consolidated and fully renovated. The number of men served at the halfway house increased by 50 percent from 18 to 27.
