Transitional Housing –
A big challenge that is faced by people in recovery is to find housing that is affordable, safe and drug-free. Stable and permanent housing with necessary support services can make a difference in rebuildiing their life and bringing strength back to a community.
- St. Margaret's Oxford House - A renvovated Episcopal rectory is now a home for men in recovery from substance abuse.
- Bernice Mead House - Transitional housing for women with a recent diagnosis of HIV/AIDS.
- Sarah Eastman Oxford House - A recovery home to provide stability for up to 4 single men.
- Walden Oxford House - Renovated housing for 5 women and children.
- Curry House - Providing housing for up to 6 single men.
- Dayspring House - Able to serve 18 women and up to 46 children. Also has community rooms and a Head Start school.
- Recovery In Community - Housing for 8 women and community space available for meetings and offices.
- Martha's Place - Residence for 8 women in a 6-month term of recovery.
- Collington Square Oxford House- Located on Mura Street to assist 7 men as a re-entry into an independent lifestyle.
Community Centers -
- Pimlico Road Arts and Community Center - A brand new community center built in the Park Heights neighborhood of Baltimore.
Multi Family -
- Shriner Court - Union Bridge - A 20 unit affordable rental housing project for low income seniors.
- Farnham House - Low cost housing for four families.
- Parktown Apartments - A 48 unit apartment building with low cost housing availabe for I Can't We Can graduates and other residents in the Park Heights neighborhood.
