Chrysalis House Expansion

DESCRIPTION

Episcopal Housing Corporation partnered with Chrysalis House Inc., a nonprofit provider of treatment for Maryland mothers recovering from substance use and mental health disorders, in a joint campus expansion project. Designed by Studio 343 and constructed by Hamel Builders, this $6MM project provided a new childcare center, clinical wing, additional residential rooms for clients, and new kitchen and dining areas. This project addressed the increasing need for opioid addiction treatment in the state of Maryland, as well as the need for supportive and transitional housing for those afflicted by substance abuse disorders.
