Recovery In Community

DESCRIPTION

In partnership with Recovery in Community (RIC), EHC converted a vacant row house and adjacent laundromat into an eight-bedroom transitional housing facility for women receiving substance abuse recovery services. The former laundromat space also houses a doctor’s office and program space for clients of RIC. The conversion was completed in October 2007.

Recovery in Community was a community-based program dedicated to reducing drug related crime and substance abuse in southwest Baltimore. RIC provided alcohol and drug addiction counseling as well as on-site health screenings.
