DESCRIPTION
The saying, “There’s no place to go but up,” fully explains Episcopal Housing Corporation’s (EHC) current partnership with Roberta’s House, a family grief support center founded out of a conviction that individuals need a nurturing environment to process and communicate their grief. This latest project is the creation of a landscaped roof garden providing green space for meditation, gathering, and healing.
Working with landscape architects, EHC is overseeing the project management which will include sitting areas for private contemplation, open spaces for gathering, plants, water features, and short walking paths allowing for both clients and staff members to find a little bit of nature amidst downtown Baltimore. This is the first such project EHC has worked on, and it is slated for opening—and enjoyment—come summer 2024.
