Mulberry Supportive Housing

DESCRIPTION

Mulberry Supportive Housing, located in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood, provides nine units of permanent supportive housing for adults experiencing chronic homelessness. Residents are referred to the project through the Coordinated Access system, managed by the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services. Health Care for the Homeless provides intensive, on-site case management services through a dedicated, full-time case manager.

Due to its location in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood and the historical significance of the building, original design features such as the large common area mirrors, certain fireplaces, and radiators were preserved in converting Mulberry into supportive housing. EHC began development in 2020, and construction was completed in 2025.
